Our First Game

Yesterday was our first game.  We played Mid-Atlantic from New Jersey.  After eating a light lunch, we made our way to the stadium. We walked under the bleachers and into the dugout.  At my first at bat in the LL World Series, I got a base hit. On the third pitch, I hit a line drive to center field. It was raining during most of the game, but still there were thousands of fans who came to watch.  We won 5-2.  After the game we got in a van and they drove us back to the dorms.  Then, we got to see our family for a little while.

Today we got to relax and I slept in.  When I'm out in the park I get to sign autographs.  That's a lot of fun!  Also, today I met Dick Vitale!  He spoke to us at lunch and we got a team picture with him.  Our next game is tomorrow at 5:00pm (Eastern time)
