Uganda

Today everyone slept in except me and a couple other teammates. We got up and had a good breakfast. Practice was from 2-4. After that, I went to eat with my parents and Grandmother. Then we went to see the first ever Little League field and where the first LL World Series was played.  That was really awesome and exciting to see in person.  When I got back to the park, we hung out with the Uganda kids. They are really cool...especially Toni, he is funny and nice.  Their team is the first team from Africa to ever make it to the LLWS.  When they came, some of them did not even have cleats, so they practiced with no shoes on!

I can't wait for our game on Wednesday. I am so excited that we have made it this far and hope to win it all.

  2. What a great story about Uganda. I'm so glad you're able to experience all the things you are at the LLWS. Y'all go get 'em tonight and we hope to see you in the US Championship on Saturday!

    1. Mr. Post...they were all pretty disappointed about losing Wednesday and Thursday. I think Mason feels pretty good about his performance though. I know we do! I just posted what he sent me about the last two games. Interesting to hear how he explains it. :) Although he wishes they could have kept playing, he is very relieved he's not missing the first day of school!

    1. Mrs. Hopkins, Thanks so much for following Mason and commenting on his posts. He has written them in a journal and I type them in. I've been trying to show him the comments when we were together. They sure mean a lot to him and as a mom I sure appreciate it :) He will be home late tomorrow night. He's very relieved that he's not missing the first day of school!
